WannLynx located in Ottawa, Ontario, is looking for a few engineers to join our team.  New graduates are encouraged, if they have summer/term experience with C++.

This is a great job if you want to play a significant role with a small, intensely skilled team and cannot imagine a day without coding.  You will have significant responsibility and will play a crucial role in our platform development. We are looking for people who like to focus on getting the job done with a streamlined process and enjoy being productive.

Our focus is initially gas stations in the US.  We are developing a payment application, into an embedded linux, to network transactions in secure channels from the payment terminal to the host.  In parallel, we are developing a hosted management server that will be used for installing/supporting the payment terminal.  We are also integrating a payment gateway.

We want smart, extremely motivated team members who are willing and able to contribute quickly and who are excited and passionate about our projects.  Our coding approach is to be craftsmen – to use open source, established, popular code and build wrappers to integrate into our requirements.  People who are not afraid to jump into different types of tasks and explore new ways to do things will enjoy this position.

WannLynx is led by a serial entrepreneur who introduced EMV secure payments to retail/restaurants in Canada and the US over the past 20 years. This new business is now focusing on US petroleum conversion with up to $4 billion being spent over the next 4 years.
