What You’ll Contribute:

We want someone to help bring to life the Treasured platform and Vision.

The Full Stack Developer will contribute to one or two projects throughout their employment.

They will contribute; new ideas, team culture and by the end of co-op, an impressive project for their portfolio.

Our team will also provide support in articulating their experience, through a resume/CV workshop, and future employment reference.

Duties and responsibilities

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer that is more than just a programmer, but someone who’s passionate about technology and ready to be a team leader.  Our developers are involved throughout our entire project and development lifecycle. We take the journey of exploration, discovery and innovation with everyone that joins our team.

Main Objective:

  • Contribute to the ongoing development and go-to-market launch of our platform over the next 6 months - 1 year.
  • Lead the team sprints.

Knowledge and skills

What You Bring To The Role

• SQL, HTML & CSS, Python, C#

• Proficiency in .NET Framework, React, Redux

• Familiarity with developing applications using cloud based platform such as Microsoft Azure, GitHub,

• Fast Learner although you may not know all of the technologies and methodologies out there, you’re willing to learn quickly and apply it effectively. If you feel learning can never stop, this is role for you.

• Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) is nice to have.

• Familiarity with DevOps tooling (CI/CD, configuration management, etc.) is nice to have

• Team First Mentality we are a tightly knit team that lean on each other and teach each other

• Work with our managers to map out processes and propose new solutions and provide a new way of solving old problems

• Active participation in collaboration/design sessions with the business, clients and our team

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience

Eligibility criteria

Qualified interns are:

  • Starting the internship within two years of receiving their post-secondary diploma
  • Underemployed (employed below their level of education or work part-time)
  • No more than 30 years of age at the start of the internship
  • Canadian citizens, permanent residents or persons granted refugee status in Canada*
  • Legally allowed to work according to the relevant provincial and Canadian legislation and regulations
  • Not receiving employment insurance during their internship
  • Available to work for at least six months

*Refugee protection must be conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Persons awaiting refugee status, as well as those who hold a temporary visitor visa, student visa or work visa, are ineligible to participate in a Youth Employment Strategy initiative.
