Duties and responsibilities

As a Digital Media Consultant, you’ll have an opportunity to sell a broad set of solutions from our extensive portfolio, such as:

Custom E-Newsletters, Custom Digital Media Campaigns, Custom Landing Pages, Custom Design and Creation, Web Advertising, Sponsored Content, and Social Media Marketing.

YOU WILL… Aggressively pursue and close new business and revenue streams. Effectively work with the Marketing Expert to manage the client relationship and retain and build account revenue. Skillfully articulate and present our products to Small and Medium sized business owners. Create and conduct face-to-face customer presentations, proposals and demonstration. Effectively coordinate all aspects of the sale from start to finish. Conduct client check-ins, upsell/cross-sell accounts, and address client issues. Attend regularly scheduled office meetings and developmental activities. Utilize CRM effectively and efficiently recording all sales activity.

Education required

Must have graduated within the last 24 months with an Advertising and Marketing Communications Management or Interactive Media Management Certificate to qualify for Internship Program

Eligibility criteria

Career-Launcher Internships are funded by the Government of Canada under the Youth Employment Strategy. For program criteria information visit their website.

 

Qualified interns are:

  • Starting the internship within two years of receiving their post-secondary diploma
  • Underemployed (employed below their level of education or work part-time)
  • No more than 30 years of age at the start of the internship
  • Canadian citizens, permanent residents or persons granted refugee status in Canada*
  • Legally allowed to work according to the relevant provincial and Canadian legislation and regulations
  • Not receiving employment insurance during their internship
  • Available to work for at least six months

*Refugee protection must be conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Persons awaiting refugee status, as well as those who hold a temporary visitor visa, student visa or work visa, are ineligible to participate in a Youth Employment Strategy initiative.
