Aright is here to partner with our BC Agricultural Community, as an Investor-Operator; Managing production, efficiency and returns; Providing Project Development and Operational expertise; Process & Technology Integration and be a leader in sustainability, building resilient food system at scales.

We as next generation growers, aim to manage a technology company in a “Farm” that has the ability to adopt, integrate and operate, constantly & consistently. Our Capital & Business Model moves from “store of wealth – land assets” to capex investment operating an infrastructure asset.

We are setting up a new facility to produce lettuce, basil and microgreens on a commercial scale using hydrophonics and LED technology. All the systems  will be monitored  using a Growlink App.

The project design coordinator will be coordinating with various engineers- civil, electrical , mechanical  and environmental to assist in designing the layout for the said project .

Tâches et responsabilités

  • Conduct design activities with supervision from senior staff/ engineering consultant
  • Work with team members to produce design layouts and complete engineering calculations as required to support activities in the completion of a project
  • Ensure Integral design processes and checklists are being followed
  • Detailed check of all work prior to returning finished product to other team members
  • Maximize positive impact on society through actions, designs and recommendations on each project
  • Be knowledgeable of Integral’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) report and initiatives
  • Participate in team events, including; team meetings, brainstorming sessions and overall collaboration activities
  • Help senior staff to liase with various Government Authorities like City, BC Hydro, ALC , etc.

Connaissances et compétences

 Working towards a degree in a real estate development related field (i.e. Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Economics, etc.).

 High degree of organizational skills and problem-solving ability; specifically the ability to work as self starter especially as it relates to calling on resources outside the company.

 Resourcefulness in finding information and answers from within and outside the company.

 Ability to prioritize/execute to achieve desired company and project goals with prudence and sense of urgency.

 Collaborative approach and respectful relationship style with both colleagues, consultants and third party service providers.

 Articulate communication – verbal, pictorial, numerical – as relevant to the development process.

 Excellent telephone etiquette, communication and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 Desire to learn and professionally grow.

 Ability to drive a car to run errands or get to job sites from periodically.

 General relevant computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

 Specialized computer skills including Timberline, Buildtopia, CAD, Prolog and Access a plus.

 Desire to invest your passion and commitment to a vision you feel you can embrace and learn and grow a career in real estate development.

 A willingness and flexibility to do “whatever it takes” to learn the business; a strong team player.

Scolarité requise

  • Currently enrolled at an academic institution or in transition between academic programs. Trained or training in any engineering / construction /agriculture program.
  • Recent Grad
